First established in 1989, the Maritime Cyprus Conference is organised every [...]First established in 1989, the Maritime Cyprus Conference is organised every two year by the Government of Cyprus together with the Cyprus Shipping Council.

This year's Maritime Cyprus Conference was held on September 25-28 in Limassol and had as a main theme " Shipping: what lies ahead?...A three piece puzzle". The Conference addressed important issues of the shipping industry such as maritime industrial relations, maritime safety and security, shipowning and finance and offered to the participants the chance to familiarise themselves with the strong maritime tradition of Cyprus and its people.

On the occassion of the "Maritime Cyprus 2005"-Conference, Lloyd's List has published a special supplementary issue on Cyprus' shipping industry. Below is an article about Intership Navigation which appears in this issue.
