“It was that time of year again... I'm referring, of course, to that special season when mature professionals get completely plastered and grapple with their boss and colleagues. When usually sensible employees take to tabletops and gyrate, Madonna-style, to “Like A Virgin “in front of their swaying colleagues.”
On December 17th, ISN hosted the annual Christmas party for its employees and their families, at the Limassol Amathus Beach Hotel. The activities commenced on Saturday afternoon with the kid’s party and ended with the brunch-style breakfast on Sunday morning. Main theme: Gourmet Food, laughter, and fun! Necessary requirements: Good mood!
The Kid’s Party took place on Saturday 17th at 4:30pm with Santa arriving at 5:00pm.
The room was decorated with Balloons, bouncing Castle for all the crazy jumps, face painting and magic tricks. Music and the loud voices of children were set as the background, When Santa arrived with the presents suddenly all kids stopped … and gathered in front of him, a magic moment, with gifts and a few words from Santa to each Child.
At 20.00 hours everybody gathered slowly-slowly in the “Bar Area” for a pre-dinner Cocktail reception. Dress Code: Formal. It was a feast for the eyes! (Quite a spectacle)
At 21.00 hrs we moved to the ballroom of the hotel for our Gala Dinner. The room was dressed in a festive atmosphere, balloons and candles decorating the round white tables, quite a sight! Following the delicious Set - Menu dinner, a gastronomical delight! Captain Adami gave us a warm speech covering the last year’s events and those planned for the future years still to come! Of course, the traditional employees’ prize draw with very exciting gifts was also part of this wonderful and enjoyable evening!
Dinner ends and we took the party to the next level: Disco and Greek dancing.
Like the movie “Saturday night fever “only this time John Travolta was not in the leading role someone else took this role ….many of us kept it to “that level” until 5 o’clock in the morning!
It was a GREAT party and a wonderful weekend! It was the best way to celebrate the achievements of 2005 and the nicest way to remember the comrades until the next Christmas party in December 2006!
