MCP Paphos and MCP Pachna are two very unique ships. The two vessels are part of the successful MCP Pool, a commercial pool of same-type feeder vessels consisting of 27 exact sister ships, that was founded in Cyprus in July 2005 by a small number of shipowners who decided to invest in a series of these 630 TEU feeder vessels.
MCP Paphos and MCP Pachna are unique in the sense that they are fully financed by the Hellenic Bank in Cyprus and owned by the ISN employees together with the Limassolian company Navinvest. Chrysses Demetriades & Co. Law Office drew up all the legal documents necessary and Deloitte Limited, Cyprus assisted in putting this first ever fully Cypriot newbuilding project together. Navinvest chose Intership Navigation to fully manage the two ships that were delivered in the second half of 2009.
Please see below a picture of the signing of the loan documents at the Hellenic Bank, Limassol and pictures of the two beautiful sister vessels.
