Cyprus Maritime conference

Read an article regarding the last Cyprus Maritime conference and the ISN presense.

"The Maritime Cyprus Conference and Exhibition, organized every two years by Cyprus Government in cooperation with the Cyprus Shipping Chamber and the Cyprus Union of Shipowners, and now one of the most prominent shipping conferences in the world, attracting many executives in the industry, including owners, managers and delegates. The main theme of the 12th Conference in 2011 was “The ?s in Shipping: Is it Safe Enough?, Is it Sustainable?, Is there enough Confidence?”, focusing on current issues of the maritime industry such as measures to counter Piracy, Seafarers, Long Term Sustainability and Energy, Capital Markets, Forecasting analysis and exploration of new opportunities to recover from the crisis.

The conference, in conjunction with the exhibition, constituted a great opportunity to the participants to meet the maritime community of Cyprus. The most reputable local ship management companies, providers of new technologies and shipping organisations were represented at the exhibition, their stands providing the focus for visitors to meet with the management, learn about new business opportunities and concentrate on networking.

The ISN stand was strategically located wherein it was virtually impossible to pass without notice. On a big screen in the middle of the stand there was an ongoing presentation of photos collected throughout the years of the Company's incorporation: internal events, the fleet, the people. Guests visiting the ISN stand were presented with gift bags containing a few small presents, including a booklet presentation of ISN, a cap with the ISN logo, the latest issue of the company newsletter "Wheelhouse" in addition to the most popular memory sticks.
