At the recent Annual Dinner of the Cyprus branch of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers, one of our employees, Nicoletta Onisiforou, was honoured for passing her exams with “Merit”, the highest grade obtainable for the Understanding Shipping Course.

The Cyprus Branch of ICS in close co-operation with the Cyprus Shipping Chamber (CSC) established the Understanding Shipping Course in 2000, to provide an introductory level course in 9 key areas of shipping practice.

On average, 55 individuals from within the shipping community enrol for the course each year.  Nicoletta was 1 of only 2 students this year to achieve a “Merit”.  Mr. Richard Brook-Hart, Chairman of ICS International, presented Nicoletta with her certificate.
