At a ceremony held at the Presidential Palace in Nicosia on 4th March 2019, Intership was once again awarded the environmental quality label, Green Offices.

Green Offices is an innovative eco-label for offices and buildings. The Award is given to facilities which implement and adhere to criteria related to energy and water consumption, waste management and the use of environmentally friendly products, the quality of food and drinks, development of green areas in open spaces and environmental education. The programme, operated by CYMEPA, runs under the auspices of the Commissioner of the Environment of the Republic of Cyprus.

Intership was the first shipping company on the island to be recognised in 2016 and has remained a recipient of the award each year since then.  

While the adoption of environmentally friendly practices, the reduction of environmental impacts of its business activities are important, it is the commitment and dedication of the staff that is the  most important factor in being awarded the Green Offices eco-label.
